Lori Fox Rossi's image of ice on Lake Superior was selected by Canadian Geographic magazine to be part of its special edition 75th Anniversary calendar. In this giant calendar her work appears alongside other leading Canadian photographers like Darwin Wiggett, Robert McCaw and Mike Grandmaison.

Transforming Boundaries Magazine is currently featuring a story about Lori Fox Rossi's work in photography. The article talks about her lastest project called "Spirit Rocks Of Lake Superior," which was inspired by her observation that certain massive rock formations offer a calming effect if visited when one one is overstressed.

The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra chose one of Lori's Lake Superior images for its 2004-05 season. Her photograph of a wave crashing against the an unspoiled shoreline graces the sympony poster, the brochure and their new CD.

Lori enjoys contributing to an arts organization as important and beneficial as our symphony. You will be sure to see her in the audience at several of the exciting concerts this season.

Lori Fox Rossi has been a regular contributor to Canadian Geographic magazine for the last 12 years, and in that time has recieved 8 story assignments and many stock image sales. Her latest published series appeared in the Mosaic section of the September 2003 issue.

The two page feature highlighted woodcarvers in the Thunder Bay area.

Lori also enjoys being invited to contribute to the Canadian Geographic calendars. This year her image of a 5-week-old red fox pup was chosen for the 2004 CG Kids calendar. Copies of the calendar can be found in selected bookstores, or by contacting Canadian Geographic magazine.
