Lori Fox Rossi is an experienced instructor who is passionate about sharing the art of photography with others. She has been creating photographs for over 25 years and is considered by Canadian Geographic magazine to be among Canada's leading photographers.

The "Photographing Your Artwork" seminar is designed for artists who need to have slides, prints or digital files of their artwork for grants, exhibition proposals, promotional material or for their own portfolio. This course will give practical information about lighting, film, exposure and lenses, so that the artist can begin to take quality photographs of their own artwork


Course elements:

- Cameras and camera formats: Which is best

- Lighting (daylight, flash, tungsten)

- Achieving correct exposure

- Colour matching

- Films for best reproduction

- Working with digital

- Reducing Glare

- Alignment of artwork

- Question and answer period




Students can bring in one or two pieces of flat artwork (not bigger than 30") that we will use for the hands-on demonstration.
