Lori Fox Rossi is an experienced instructor who is passionate about sharing the art of photography with others. She has been creating photographs for over 25 years and is considered by Canadian Geographic magazine to be among Canada's leading photographers.

The intermediate workshop is designed for those who know the basics of photography and camera operation. This course will deal more with photographic composition and the art of seeing. It will help you put more life and emotion into your photographs.

Course elements:

- Advanced camera techniques

- How to compose a good photograph

- Achieving correct exposure

- Giving photos extra pizzazz

- Using filters

- Choosing the right lens for the desired result

- Troubleshooting photos that didn't turn out

- Question and answer period

If students desire, they can bring in several of their own photographs for the troubleshooting session. These can be either photos that didn't turn out and the student wants to know why; or they can be photos that turned out great and the student just wants to share.

Currently this course is running as the "Put More Life Into Your Photos" course at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery.
